This spray-on conditioner is very light weight with a fresh, but not overly perfumed scent. Design Essentials HCO Leave-In Conditioner and Blow Drying Lotion penetrates the hair shaft to make damaged hair softer and more manageable.  The product is designed to be applied to wet hair before blow drying, but has become indispensable in my home in braid removal and combing.  A few sprays of Design Essentials HCO Leave-In Conditioner will aide in loosening even the most stubborn of tangles.  I also love this product for conditioning the hair and scalp in between braiding.  It is important, especially with tightly braided styles, to maintain a healthy level of moisture.  Unfortunately, the application of conditioner to parts, and braids can cause the hair to frizz.  This product has solved the problem for us.  Whenever, my daughters' scalp, and hair shows signs of dryness, a few squirts of this terrific conditioner solves the problem.
